CLINICAL SERVICES

Dr. Barrie R. Wagner provides individual clinical treatment services for children (ages three years old and up), adolescents and adults. Dr. Wagner provides collaboration with medical providers if needed and she has established close professional relationships with psychiatric service providers in the area. Although Dr. Wagner considers medication evaluations and treatment to be vital to clients in some cases, she makes every effort to help each client with symptom remittance prior to such referrals. She views the individual as unique and an active participant in finding solutions to meeting their goals in treatment.

A thorough intake session helps Dr. Wagner closely examine the individual’s needs and functioning in the context of the environment. A holistic approach (health, behavior patterns, schedules, work/school environment, family and friend relationships, nutrition, activity level, financial health) is utilized with each client with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral and Family Systems techniques.
